Lili has research and work experiences in the area of data mining, cloud computing, and operations research. She is interested in developing solutions with model formulation, algorithm design, and implementation skills. She has developed solutions for multiple real-world problems in the industry of software, energy, transportation, and econometrics, with additional techniques of database, full stack web development, and system development. Prior to joining the program, she has worked as a research associate at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She has M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Tennessee and B.S. degree in Electronic Information Science and Technology from Central South University, China. She is also certified SAS Base Programmer, SAS Advanced Programmer, SAS Statistical Business Analyst, and Predictive Modeler using SAS Enterprise Miner 7. In her leisure time, she likes reading and traveling.
